Breean Robinson NPC Fitness
How did you get interested in
i cheered competitively throughout high school and then went on to cheer in college so when i got out i needed something to keep me motivated. having that goal and a finish line really helps me stay focused.
How was your first show like, any interesting experiences?
interesting isn't really the word!...lets just say my first fitness show ever i was the very first thing to start off the entire show and within the first 10 seconds i had a "Jannet Jackson" incident! it was horrible, and kind of surreal, but i guess if i can get over something like that on stage im ready for anything! but overall everything turned out great, i won the show, so i guess what my husband tells me is true "there's no such thing as bad publicity"!
What do you like and dislike about competing?
i love the goal, i love being able to do something that takes so much dedication, willpower, and dicipline and i love how it makes me look and the confidence it gives me...and i very much dislike dieting!! i won't lie..i miss my cookies!
What are your future goals in this industry?
of course the first goal is to turn pro and second just to make a name for myself.
What do you see yourself doing in 10 years?
hopefully still competing, with a family and the same drive i have now.
Please tell us something special about you that most people
my husband competes as well, everyone always asks us how we diet together without killing each other but actually its so much easier when you have your main support system doing exactly what you are it doesn't make you feel like your missing out on anything, like having a normal life.
Any additional notes? People you would like to thank?
i would like to thank my husband Brenton Robinson, he is my main supporter, he has more faith in me then anyone including myself and he gives me that confidence everyday, he knows when to push me and when to ease off and if your under the stress of preparing for a show that is very important' my trainer Keith Koppenhaver, i have never seen my body make as many changes as when i started working with him, he's brutal but it works!' my family and Kimberly, shes the one friend that understands the hard work that goes into all of this and truely supports! thanks to all of you!
