How did you get interested in bodybuilding/working out?

Well, I first started working out when I played football, I played football since I was in biddy league and played all the way through the 8th grade. Then I got into powerlifting, I set 3 state records for my class when I was 16. News paper articles that I still have today, always called me the "teen superstar". I enjoyed powerlifting and entered contests all the time, I seemed to always get the best lifter award or first place. I started bodybuilding in 1999 and took first place(open and novice classes) in the silver state nationals.

What was your first show like, any interesting experiences?

Well I learned that powerlifting is allot easier then bodybuilding, the bodybuilding diet is a killer. WIth Powerlifting its not how you look but how strong you are, its totally opposite with bodybuilding.

What do you like and dislike about competing?

Dieting - I hate the dieting at about 2-3 weeks out, it makes you feel like your going insane and I am mad at the world. I am not a mean person so I really hate feeling like that. What do I like, how I look when I get down to 7-8% bodyfat :)

What do you see yourself doing in 10 years?

I would like to be a horse trainer, I am working on horse training at the moment. I would also like to enter (and win) a triathlon.

Please tell us something special about you that most people wouldn't know?

I actually did the entire website design on my website, most people think I have it done by someone else, but its all me.

Competition History:

-1999 - Silver State Natural bodybuilding competition (Las Vegas NV) 1st place in novice and Open
-1994 - Kansas State Bench press and Power lifting competition 1st place and best lifter award
-1991 - Louisiana women's power lifting (heavyweight ) 3rd place
-1991 - Arkansas State power lifting Championships 1st (Set state record in my weight class and won outstanding women's lifter award)
-1991 - Louisiana State power lifting Championship 1st place (I broke ALL the state records with my lifts in the bench press, dead lift and squat, this meet ranked me in the top 5 in the nation)
-1990 - Mississippi Power lifting competition 2nd place
-1990 - Louisiana State power lifting championship 4th place.
