Welcome to another editorial! Let's talk about something I am sure we all have been trying to do during this pandemic; home workouts!

Some lucky few already had a decent collection of dumbells, bench, other weights, etc. Even a treadmill at home. BUT most people were not well equipped when the pandemic hit and all gyms were closed down. At this point, August 2020, some have reopened with their new protocols, but many were opened then shut again due to spikes in new coronovirus cases.

As for home workouts, I personally have enough weights and a bench at home to get by. As for cardio, I have sadly forgone the treadmill and stair stepper and have been running outside on the pavement. It took some getting used to but I adapted. I also keep highly active by trying other things for cardio such as jump roping, soccer drills and sprints, and plan to make up some fun basketball drills to change it up in the next coming weeks! I wanted to keep the pandemic weight gain from getting the best of me, so I also incorporated fasted light jogging in the AM, which I really enjoy because of the fresh air and how it makes me feel starting my day moving my body.

I have spoken to some of models and competitors to see what they have been doing, especially the ones who are still doing their competitions during this time! One model has her own stair stepper at home. Most have joined random gyms they have to drive further to in order to do their lifting and cardio necessary! It is commendable that they are staying focused and competing still in uncertain times.
