Editorial by Juan Carlos Lopez Hello Fitness Fans, Happy Halloween! I hope you all have a fun and safe celebration if you celebrate. Get your shoulder workout in to pump those pumpkins haha. If you didn't know, there are three parts to the deltoid muscle to target! Front, side, and rear delts. My favorite shoulder exercise is seated dumbbell press, with care to not straiten the elbows all the way as to keep the muscle engaged during the whole movement. For front delts, I like front raises with dumbbells, or a plate. Rear delts, cable flies are great, where you have one cable pully in each hand criss crossed. You have to make sure to focus on keeping the X shape of the cables steady in front of your face. I hope this was helpful and that you have a fun costume for your parties! JC |
