2007 San Francisco Figure and Bodybuilding Championships Review by Juan Carlos Lopez A smaller show in regards to competitors and attendance as always in comparisons to the Contra Costa. The San Francisco show brings in a quite a different crowd from many areas in the SF bay area. Chabot College in Hayward was the venue for this event just like it was for the Contra Costa. Figure was divided in 4 classes and class A was for Akane Nigro who always brings a balanced physique with matching calves and shoulders. Second place was for Traci Hall who has improved her physique from last year. Sarah Gardner was surely a great sight as she was lean and showed an amazing lower body, expect to see her do better and better at upcoming shows.
In class B overall winner Farinaz Tavakoli took her class and brought a very lean physique her best ever. Patricia Moore took second and Melissa Gillespie took 3rd and also brought an interesting physique. In Class C Lucinda Witte took 1st place, she is an experienced competitor and has competed in many shows. Always coming in lean and with a look that judges like. In second KC Inlow stepped to figure from having competed for many shows as a female bodybuilder.
Class D showcased Veronica Miller a physique that could have taken the overall as well. Defined lines and overall great look with a lean body. She has a lot of potential given her body structure and that many judges are choosing the taller longer muscled competitors.
in female bodybuilding Jill Theobald took the show, only 3 girls in total competed bringing this portion of the show to a much smaller scale. In the masters figure Traci Hall took the A class and the overall edging veteran Lucinda Witte. For the over 45 masters figure Kelly Boulware took the first place over 3 other competitors. |
