Editorial by Juan Carlos Lopez Once more we have ended the Arnold Classic in one piece, or at least closest to one piece. A 4 day weekend has become the most complex and hardest show to cover. Thanks to all the booth girls, my assistant Maria Kapinos, Aleksey Kashtelyan photographer and Laurie St.Michael makeup artist. HardFitness Booth The booth was very successful and our sponsored competitors did a great job in representing HardFitness. Our booth had t-shirts for sale and our business cards as far as materials. We offered some specials and had a great response as far as the sponsorship forms that we offered. Over 150 forms were filled out which is very positive and tells us how big the Arnold can be. We will also be offering for sale HardFitness T-shirts on this website very soon. Regarding the sponsorships we are going to narrow down to 20 competitors/models and perhaps at the Arnold we nailed two very strong candidates. Keep checking this section for more updates regarding future booths and sponsorships. Keep on checking on http://www.hardfitness.com/sponsor.html for new additions to our team. Judging Criteria It seems that the criteria earlier this year has favored a softer look with less muscle. In some classes at the Arnold some of the top 5 did have ripped abs, bigger legs and thicker caps on their shoulders. It is always questioned as to what they want but a nice shape with balance even if its not that well conditioned can win a pro card. Also IFBB Pros will be sent a letter to let them know they need to come in softer on stage. This is only probably to let everyone know that they have to be softer and less muscular on stage. Its already evident that the bodies have changed to a softer look but the IFBB wants to hammer that point even more.
